03 / Your data
Finy knows who you are.
Your ledger stays on your phone.
Finy has no analytics, no ad network and no bank connection. What it keeps, where, and what never leaves your phone, in six short answers. The policy says the rest.
Read the privacy policyOn Free, nothing is uploaded
You sign in with Apple or Google so your plan is yours. On Free the server holds your email and your plan, and not one row of your ledger. Not even your phone's own backup carries it.
No ads, no trackers
No ad SDK on any plan, ever. No analytics in the app, and none on this site. The only thing Finy counts is your money.
Insights run on the phone
Categories suggested, a budget's forecast, a merchant remembered: all read your local ledger. No model is trained on your rows.
Paid syncs to Finy's own server
Once the cloud ships, a paid ledger is kept encrypted on Finy's server in Jakarta, in transit and at rest. Finy keeps an encrypted copy, like your bank does. A lapsed plan keeps the phone; the copy goes after 30 days.
A lock, when you want one
Your face, your fingerprint or your phone's PIN, the app switcher hidden, every amount hidden. Each off until you turn it on.
Never a bank
Finy never connects to a bank. It reads what you share with it, say to it, point it at or hold to it, and nothing else.
